Finally i have been in the situation to pick up my sankey trailer
it is in generally good condition, apart from missing lighting, so ebay here i come!!

Well after a bit of struggle the DIY heater hoses are in place, there was a small moment where i thought there may have been a more serious problem, but it was just a lose hose clamp..
3.5 meters of hoses, and 14 inches off copper pipe and everything is working again.. would just have been handy if it had been done before the snow and ice..
Snow, Rain and missing parcels have been the excuses but...
Today the final hose's and pipe arrived for the artic heater repairs
it was not possible to get the exact pieces required as they are either not made, or not available
however, i have:
4 meters of straight radiator hose
2 x 90 degree bends
a length of copper tube to use as connectors

This does mean weather permitting all will be working again this weekend :-)
The latest problem to present itself is the Artic Heater
This is a box that sits between the front seats, blows hot air onto the windows, it works quite well!
It is heated from the engines coolant system, which means hoses coming from the engine bay into the cab, this is all ok, until they start to leak..
One of the has persished, the other was poorly fitted, and has been rubbing on a sharp part of the bodywork so has eventually worn through
the hard task has been to find long supplies of radiator hose, that is flexible enough to route through where it needs to go!
In the top photo is the heater box between the seats, the lower photo shows the hoses coming through the cab, the upper hose has perished, the lower one has been rubbing on the gearbox tunnel
